1. About Rainflower

Rainflower is a community platform that connects students with coordinators and advisors for educational mentorship, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. By creating an account and using this platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and to support the platform's mission of safe, respectful, and lawful learning.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when you sign up.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
• If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not use Rainflower to:

• Post, share, or transmit anything that is illegal under your local laws or the laws of the platform's operating jurisdiction.
• Share content that is hateful, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise harmful.
• Share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind. Such content will be reported to the relevant authorities.
• Promote terrorism, organized crime, weapons trafficking, illegal drugs, human trafficking, or self-harm.
• Infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of any person or organization.
• Distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, or interfere with its normal operation.
• Send spam, unsolicited promotional content, phishing attempts, or scams.
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, qualifications, or the source of any content you share.
• Collect or harvest personal information about other users without their explicit consent.

4. Content You Share

• You retain ownership of the content you create on Rainflower.
• By posting content, you grant Rainflower a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as required to operate the platform.
• You are solely responsible for the content you share. Rainflower is not the author of user content and does not endorse it.
• You confirm that you have the right to share any content you post, and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Coordinator Oversight & Account Removal

Students who sign up under a coordinator agree to that coordinator's oversight on the platform. Coordinators may remove, suspend, or revoke a student's account at their sole discretion, without prior notice, consultation, or explanation. Reasons may include — but are not limited to — violations of these Terms, breaches of acceptable use, conduct inconsistent with the platform's mission, or no reason at all. Platform administrators may also remove any account at any time for the same reasons.

Upon removal, you lose access to your account and to any content associated with it. Rainflower may retain certain data as required by law or to enforce these Terms.

6. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform: your name, email, country, school, grade, and content you choose to share. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Email addresses are used for account verification, login links, and important platform notices.

7. Disclaimers

The platform and its content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Rainflower does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the information shared by users. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rainflower, its operators, contributors, coordinators, and advisors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
