Raindrops and badges

How you earn raindrops, your wallet, the leaderboard, the shop and the badge ladder.

Raindrops (πŸ’§) are Rainflower's reward points. You earn them for real contributions and can spend them in the shop.

Earning raindrops

Activity What you earn
Quizzes Your best score pays; a retake pays only the improvement. Practice rounds pay nothing.
Experiments Each accepted report pays the experiment's reward. Rainfall pays once per day or week.
Analyze projects Pays on submission, on thumbs-up from others, for comments, and when accepted.
Memes 10 for each like on your meme (your own likes don't count).
Ask Thunder Asking at /ask costs 10; an answered question pays back 10, up to 100 a day.
Arcade games Up to 150 a day in rewarded mode.
Inviting friends A bonus when your friend is approved, and another once they stay active.
Support feedback A reward when your report leads to a change listed on the Change Log.
Research papers Rewards for submitting, grades and advisor ratings, set per paper.

Wallet, leaderboard and shop

  • /wallet shows your balance and every transaction. To send raindrops to a friend, enter their username and an amount, then press Send.
  • /raindrops is the leaderboard.
  • /shop lets you spend raindrops, including Cash out above a minimum amount.

Badges

Badges follow your raindrop balance and only ever go up: spending raindrops never takes a badge away.
