Guardian consent

Consent links and paper forms for students under 18.

Students under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.

How it works for the student

After their first sign-in, a student under 18 gets a consent link (/paperwork/<code>) to send to a guardian. They can press Continue for now up to 3 times; after that their account stays locked until the guardian signs.

What you can do

At /paperwork:

  • Press Generate link for a student and send it to the guardian yourself.
  • Or download the PDF form for the guardian to sign on paper.
  • If a guardian signs on paper, record it there so the student is unlocked.
